The problem of sludge has become a "serious problem" of sewage treatment
plants.
With the increasingly strict environmental protection inspection, the
downstream sludge disposal units often restrict the acceptance, resulting in no
stable place for the sludge and can only "hold" in the biochemical system, which
leads to a series of "secondary hazards", such as excessive effluent, reduced
treated water volume, increased energy consumption, etc.
Therefore, during the "two sessions" this year, the environmental chamber of
Commerce of the all China Federation of industry and Commerce submitted the
"proposal on improving the inflow and sludge disposal of environmental
protection industry", suggesting that the sludge disposal should be improved in
many aspects.
Recently, the reply of the Ministry of ecological environment also came,
giving four solutions, such as formulating policies, arranging investment in the
central budget, improving the level of technological innovation and application,
and strengthening supervision and inspection.
Overall, there has been progress. Although it did not fully meet the
expectations of the industry, it has released some positive signals compared
